I don't really care about Tobias - like, it doesn't matter to me if he was the reason Ash lost the league.

Good ep. They kept all the music and used both Darkrai and Latios's original voices. Tabias was smug, but never really a jerk, and I actually would like to know how he matched up against the Elite Four....

Ugh. this episode was very dissapointing. Ash could have used way better pokemon (like Charizard, Snorlax, or the rarely seen Muk) and the only interesting part was the final collision of Pikachu and Latios.

Charizard and Squirtle are never sent to Ash like Ash's Oak'd Pokémon
They always come all the way by themselves - which probably means Ash can only get their help while he's in Kanto/Johto
If Gliscor was sent back to the air master, it's probably the same and it'll be able to help Ash only when Ash is in Sinnoh

I don't see what was wrong with the team he selected here, apart from Gible, who came across as one hell of a gamble. Sceptile, Swellow and Heracross are all some of his best 'mons, and even with Torkoal's fairly shitty track record, I can give it the benefit of the doubt with Registeel and all.

That said, I still think it's total bullcrap that Swellow was taken down in one hit. I mean, c'mon, it's freaking Swellow. :P

What, "better Pokemon" could have had used? I would have had Glalie there instead of Gible.

The Kanto starters had no place in this league, I wouldn't want to see Charizard again since the other two weren't there.

I think this episode was pretty damn awesome.

The only real change I would have made is that I would've liked to see the guy's third Pokemon.

According to a different forum, J. Michael Tatum voiced Tobias. You might recognize him as Kyoya from Ouran High School Host Club.

Is that confirmed or just a guess? Oh, and really don't know what goes through TPCi's mind. Sometimes they keep all the music for the most random episodes and when it matters, they don't do it?

Glalie was seen, and it should of been used here instead of gible, i think gible was good enough in the conway battle and torkoal could of done better but think of it this way, Ash did what most people couldn't, even the person Tobias beat to become the champion couldn't do what Ash did, Ash at least took down Darkrai, so that's an accomplishment in itself.
