I'd go for Articuno, Suicune, Entei or Raikou (most likely Suicune).

Suicune most likely because, at my current height/weight, it would be easy to ride on it's back, therefore I could get places extremely fast as well as not having to use public transport (due to the fact I get on buses for free, I tend to get stuck sitting next to strange smelling old ladies).
(Entei and Raikou for the same reason).
Oh, and Suicune could freeze a certain Twatty McTwat I know...

Articuno, because I might possibly be able to ride it even though it's only a little bigger than I am, and even though it's an ice-type it's feathers look snuggly and warm to hug.

Note how none of the ones I want as pets are my favorite Pokémon :B

I think my biggest question is if the People of the Water and Pokelantis are the same thing... mainly because both of them are based off the legend of Atlantis. Halfway through compiling my team of choice, it dawned on me just how drab they look as a group. Lots of purples, blues, browns and greys.
I've always been aware that there was a large sum of pokemon this time around that had been saddled with similar colour schemes for the most part, but scrolling through the latter half of the pokedex, it becomes really jarring to see so many in succession.
I like several of the 4th generation pokemon as individuals, but as a group, they look incredibly dull in comparisson to former generations. While I'm sure it sounds quite petty to some, it's become off-putting to the point where I've actually given up training a few new guys for the time being and opted for older pokemon that bring a little more color to my team. It's as if my subconcious is turning me against pokemon I find genuinely interesting based on something as (arguably) superficial as what colour they are.


Has anyone else ever been in a similar situation? Are there any pokemon you feel would have benefit from being a different color?
