Pokémon and my college

Pokémon and my college go hand-in-hand, and it shows. Some examples:
~On the whiteboard in a computer lab near the attendant's desks, there's a Pikachu drawn like its Sugimori artwork.
~Sometimes, StreetPassers (there's a good amount of them here on campus) have Gen IV or V games as games they recently played. When X and Y come out, I'll surely see a lot of those two games.
~There's an improv group that sometimes does Pokémon. Yesterday, there were posters in random places outside with Kanto city names on them. I even overheard some improvists chanting the original Team Rocket motto in the "Fuchsia City" area.
~Yesterday, when I decided to relax between classes, I was playing my Black 2, eyeing my newly obtained event Giratina and training a couple of my 'mons. Two people sat nearby; one of them had a Glaceon doll perched on his shoulder. He asked me if I was looking forward to X and Y, and I told him that I am.
~One of my teachers is in on it too last year: it was a class for Java, and when the lesson was try-catch blocks, a picture of Ash Ketchum was seen on the first page of the assignment handout she gave us.
~Also last year, my college had a ComicCon-esque event. One of my math lab classmates cosplayed as Ash, complete with a crochet Poké Ball. She looked adorable in that costume.
It's a good time to be a grown-up fan of Pokémon, especially when one can fit in.
