Only user @Infinity Mk-II; seems to understand this besides myself, and that just disappoints me. The amount of fun stuff you can pull off with them is just amazing. Especially a bonus if you're a manly man who plays Set, none of that Shift shit. They're not something for every fight, but their style and clutch and awesome points where they are cannot be denied.

    Set = Just sends out next Pokemon after you KO one.
    Shift = HEY SO AND SO IS GOING TO CHANGE POKEMON AND THIS IS WHAT IT IS WANNA CHANGE YOURS FREELY SO YOU CAN KEEP ADVANATAGE? OH AND THEY CAN'T DO THAT WHEN THEY FAINT YOURS FUCK THEM THIS EASYMODE.

    That said... they are quite specific items that you can't just go ahead and use anytime. Definitely not for every battle.
    But it's part of what makes the Wonder Launcher fun. Specially when you have things like "X-Defense 6" or "Dire Hit 3".

    (You know, I always wondered how 2-way shift battles would unfold. It'd make it much harder to counter advantage... which admittedly would make watching most battles boring. But being shifted against would be awesome)
