Very strong I would say. Now I can shove this in face anyone who says that Pokémon sucks! Hah! :D And anyone who says that Pokémon is going downhill is wrong, because it can only get better from here.

I dunno if this is random, but I just felt like blogging. xP

I am really hoping BW outsell DP.It is most likely going to happen...but still,it will be the greatest indication that this games are the best ones after RBY.

The site already confirmed that Pokémon Black & White are already the fastest selling DS games in history.

And that speaks a lot about the franchise itself.

All this means is more of the current fans are pre-ordering. It says nothing towards whether or not its going to attract new fans and old fans that have said goodbye to the franchise.

Besides, with the two games actually having differences this time around, I wouldn't be surprised if people pre-ordered both versions so the amount of people buying would actually be less.

No, it doesn't say anything but it doesn't automatically have to mean that fans pre-ordered both versions because of the differences. Full differences have yet to be revealed and if so, trading is still possible. :S

fastest selling doesn't mean most successful. that just means more people pre-ordered than last time.

Never did I say that the games were most successful. :/

    More pre-orders can mean either:
    1. Old fans returning to the franchise and new ones emerging.
    2. People pre-ordering both games because of the differences.

Actually, it doesn't. Newer fans probably aren't paying attention to what's happening in the franchise by virtue of not being fans yet (hene the term "new fan"). They'll enter later on and will contribute to the sales long after the release of the games.

Old fans who have given up on the franchise would not have been paying attention to it enough to know they want to buy the games. They'll buy it if they see their friends playing and talking about how good it is.

Neither one of those two, who aren't dedicated to the franchise will pre-order and pay shipping fees.

More pre-orders mean, just what I said in my earlier post: "more of the current fans are pre-ordering"

So really, all it means is that more of the current fans are pleased with what's going on. We all know that there are game differences in entire areas, some people will buy both versions because of that. Will they pre-order both? Maybe, and that is much more likely than fans-to-be and fans who have lost interest to have pre-ordered.

Oh, okay. Well Serebii Joe made that statement, not me. Go discuss that with him. xD

I only wanted to bring over the news via blog. I never wanted a discussion. :S

More people will likely have checked Serebii than a random forum blog. There's already a thread in the B/W forum. If you wanted more attention to it, there's Bulbanews.

Well excuse me for trying to express my own opinion. I won't bother anymore. Thank you very much.

    Bulbanews takes opinion.

Besides, how is this expressiong "your own opinion"?

What you blogged about was fact, and regurgitated what your source said.

My opinion was that the Pokémon franchise is running strong and that it can only get better from now on. Now I don't know if you've actually read the last few lines or if you misunderstood them, but I'm in no mood for discussion so I advise you to do the same thing you advised me to do.

Create a thread in Bulbanews and discuss with the others about it, not with me.

You posted a blog and didn't turn off comments, people can discuss here if they want. "The franchise is running strong" is still a fact, not an opinion.

I would like to point out that "Pokemon is popular; BW is the fastest selling DS game and it haven't even come out yet!" is not an appropriate counter-arguemnt to "Pokemon sucks." See also: Twilight, Bieber.

I don't see what Outrage is doing wrong. If you don't want comments on your blog at all then disable them, moderate them or even delete them.

You seriously don't think that Pokémon sucks like Twilight or Justin Bieber, right?

Also, I never said Outrage did anything wrong. I didn't feel like discussing nor did I know that all these people will comment here, last time I barely got two replies. I'm sorry and I'll be sure to moderate my comments. I "apologize". There, are you happy? I really wouldn't like to delete this blog.

In addition, if he decides to use it as a counter argument that "Pokemon sucks" to his friends, why do you even care? He's not having this argument with you, you guys should both be on the same side. You know, the one where you actually enjoy Pokemon.
^.^ Thank you. Finally someone who understands.
