It's July now, so that means tier changes for both Pokemon Online and Smogon are in effect. Basically, the trend is that Pokemon Online have tier changes every two months, while Smogon get theirs every three months. Their meeting point is June, so I decided to compare the changes now. So Fairy-types are the new type in the block. It's a very awesome thing to introduce since that opens up to more design possibilities, and also give existing Pokemon a new type to fit into. There is another franchise that introduced a new type quite late into the series, and it was introduced in the third Generation. The series I am referring to is Yu-gi-oh (5D's is the 3rd Generation).
Before 5D's, there were 20 types, with a 21st type that is reserved for the Egyptian God cards
Now, I don't consider myself a regular battler since I don't battle often, since I will admit I have a certain fear of being overwhelmed by the opposition and losing. Even more so is that I am not much of an RU battler. However, one thing I observed on Smogon is how the general usage of Pokemon makes it difficult for any Pokemon to drop down a tier, or even rise. Take a look at April's RU list, for example (Top 70): + ---- + ------------------ + --------- + ------ + ------- + ------
Here's a (probably) deep question for all of you: Do you think humans are spiritual beings with a physical body, or are they physical beings with a soul?
If you choose to answer, please provide a reasoning for your choice. The reason I want to ask this is to know what you folks at Bulbagarden think about this matter.
