With the current discussions, it is commonly stated that Pokémon games often made to match the releases of their respective consoles. However, I wondered if this was the case or not, so this blog post sprung up. Game Boy Release Dates:
Japan: April 21, 1989
North America: August 1989
Europe: September 28, 1990 Generation I
Red/Green: February 27, 1996
Blue: October 15, 1996

The saga continues! Volbeat and Illumise
Volbeat and Illumise's relationship is weird. In their debut, Volbeat had the niche of being the only Special Attack boost Baton Passer. But in Gen IV Illumise gained Tinted Lens, outclassing Volbeat. And then Tail Glow became a move with +3 boost. They don't exactly have any stand-out gimmicks, at least not one that is clearly

As most of the unavaible Pokémon has been released on DW with the exception of legendaries, I thought this would be a decent time to do this.
When discussing future evolutions for Pokémon, a common excuse for certain Pokémon is that “they are gimmick Pokémon”, “they are introduced to teach certain aspects of game”, “they have specific game mechanics” etc. Since they are “gimmicks”, they don't need evolutions, or in more extreme cases, don't even deserve to Pokémon.

So I tried to test out shelbylln's Sai brush... and it certainly looks a like a pencil drawing. A pencil drawing that is improperly scanned, that is.
I am not going to edit the typo. I've got homework to do.

I should be making actual blogs instead of this stuff, but this relevant for what's been currently going up in the forums. This will be talking about of stuff for Advanced Generation and on because a)due to most of information before than being spread through physical media it makes them hard to track from Internet and b)Bulbapedia has extensive documentation for the pre-release information, at least for Gen II titles, and I am pretty sure you can find about Blue's release as it was a special edition
