For some reason I came across this livejournal of this person who I don't even know. She is apparently a major Misty fan, but I find her rants about the series most amusing. All these blog posts are from the same person, BTW.

Am I the only one not surprised?

I remember calling it from early DP that this was likely going to be his final arc, and I was right.

It seems the writers thought Croagunk could rejuvenate the character, but that just made people like Croagunk, not Brock himself.

What's sad is that Brock has been around for 13 years and 620 episodes...yet has nothing really to show for it. For a character that's been around that long, he hardly has any character development ...
