  1. You know what really grinds my gears?

by , 22nd August 2009 at 09:09 PM (Musings of a Collegiate Caffeine Addict)
Chick bartenders who clearly had no fun in college.

So I was at my best friend's father's 50th birthday party just now and this bitch who was tending bar kicked a bunch of us out because we were drinking under the age of 21. We're all 19 and 20 years old so she was just being a pain. And the fact that my father was handing me drinks the entire night and that everyone in the entire place was cool with us drinking makes it even worse.

    Stupid woman.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky has sucked me back in. And it's as cracktastic as I remember it being.

There's something compelling about seeing how long I can survive the zero island dungeons (when I should really be leveling up to beat Darkrai).

I just wish there was some way I could beat those cheapass Electivire and Silver Wind spamming Venomoth in Zero Island East. Because god they have killed me every time.

  5. Really?

by , 22nd August 2009 at 04:21 PM (Imperial subatomic bonding protocols)
I can't believe how stupid some parents are. I went to see G.I. Joe yesterday, and there were SO many kids between 6 and 9, because parents were like, "Hey! Action figure into a movie! Kid friendly! Yeah!" It's like with what happened during Watchmen. Parents took their little kids because they saw it was a super hero movie from a comic series, so they thought it was alright, even though it's clearly labeled as PG-13. And then they complained about how violent and stuff it was. Yet they ...
