No cross-gen compatibility. Also making it basically impossible to RNG abuse. It'd probably be more good than harm in the end, and the fallout in the meantime would be hilarious to watch. Just like when we went from 2 to 3. Plus we'd get wars with the anti-RNG abuse people. Riotous stuff.
