I was leveling Gabby up so she could evolve into Garchomp using Chansey because I didn't want to run the risk of finding another shiny Audino. This encounter wasn't intended, and encounters like those confuse the shit out of me.

Anyone who saw my breeding service lately knows I was asked to breed a 5 IV Thick Fat Swinub with rocks and crash.
Well I went beyond that and bred my first 6 IV Pokemon.
So I'm still in the mood to philosophize on headcanon... and my attention turns now to Pokemon growth and development, and how it may contrast or play into the anime.
Pokemon evolution is the same as growing up, with each stage representing a point of maturity in their life. But maturity isn't just limited to evolution.
