  2. I hate Spring + I hate my vet

    I hate spring... and it's not even OFFICIALLY spring yet!

    Allergies kicking into full gear again, making me quite miserable. It's not even officially spring yet and ALREADY they're more active than usual. I have bad allergies, I admit, but they get even worse during the spring, as most of my allergies are seasonal (pollen, mold, weeds, to be exact).   3. Tourism in New Orleans

    I wouldn't want to live in New Orleans, but darn if that place wasn't fun. Even without all the street performers and vendors, just watching the people was fascinating. We watched a street breakdancing show, ate alligator meat, browsed at a French market, and went to Cafe du Monde and had the best beignets and coffee in all of Louisiana. The vagrants and runaways all seemed to have dogs with them, on leashes... I guess I never thought that even homeless city folks need companionship of some kind. ...
