It's been years since I watched the Simpsons because I got so fed up of screwed up characterization and just plain unfunny jokes, but I've caught the last few new episodes and it's been pretty enjoyable. Are these last few episodes a good indication of what the show is like now? It'd be nice to start watching it again.

Two weeks exactly after I posted that Heart Gold had shipped, it finally arrived. That's what I get for paying cheap shipping. I could've sworn Platinum came faster than this.

But unlike Platinum, I actually got the figure! O_O Not quite as nice as the pictures made it look like, but kickass none the less. Ho-Oh is now sitting atop my i-Mac, ready to pounce on anyone that dare touch it.

The box that contains the game and Pokewalker is really nice, as is the game box ...

As someone who has never played GSC, I can finally see what all the fuss is about!

It's just a shame I probably wont get that cool Ho-Oh figure.

After reading everyone's comments and thinking it over some more, I decided to change my user name from Rocket Girl to Musashi. Like I said, this is the name I wanted when I got into the Pokemon internet fandom, but for obvious reasons it's taken everywhere.

Once I thought about it, I figured why not have the name I really want? Sure, I may not be constant around the net, (not like I entirely am anyway) but why not take the opportunity to have the name I want at the one place I can? ...
