So I did the Taste of Death quest. That cannibal woman told me to clear out a dungeon full of Draugr (no problem, I've done that loads of times) to get to a shrine of Namira. Afterwards, she told me to draw Verulus to the shrine, so I could kill and eat him.

But when I met Verulus, I realized that I didn't want to kill and eat him. So I stopped.

I left Markarth 100 septims and an Amulet of Arkay richer. I do not think I will be returning. Do you think I did the right ...

I'm posting this from Markarth, the best city in Skyrim ever! They've got everything: the inns are good, the shops are fair, and the meat vendors really do have the bloodiest beef in the Reach! The people here might be distrustful of outsiders, but I'm sure they'll warm up to Lydia and me.

And as for their Forsworn problem...Hey, no city can be perfect. Hell, the first thing you saw in Solitude was a dude getting his head chopped off! And Windhelm just treated those poor Dunmer abominably! ...
