Using GIFs for animated sprites

Really now, I don't understand why Bulbapedia is using APNGs for animated sprites. So I'm proposing to change them back to GIFs.

I was getting, well, frustated with the fact that they are using a file format which is unsuitable for the particular purpose.

I sure hope that you guys comment on my proposal.
