So, exactly one year ago, I joined Bulbagarden. I had already been a lurker (and user of Bulbapedia) for some time, and, being a narcissist who loves spouting inane opinions at anyone who stands still long enough, I decided to join *dramatic music* my first real forum. I had had a short, ill-advised stint as a YouTube commenter before that (I wasn't a troll, although everyone probably thought I was), but that was the closest it ever got. I wanted real discussions, rules to obey. More importantly,

Well, for starters, the Pokémon designs are fantastic. I know I'm gonna piss off a lot of people by saying that, but I believe it to be true.
But that's not my main reason.
