As I think I've probably let it be known to some of you by now, I lost my 2DS a few months ago and had been really kicking myself over it since then because misplacing things is a very bad trend of mine. At one point I even thought I had lost the charger as well, but lo and behold, I found it about a week later. Upon relocating it, I made it imperitive that I make room for it in the carrying case I use for my old GameBoy paraphernalia.
A few minutes ago, however, my mom was cleaning out our van because she is much more organized than I am, and she found that plastic hunk of joy and misery, my 2DS, strewn in with a bunch of DVDs. I thanked her profusely and then immediately made it my goal to figure out a place to keep it at all times. I'm hoping to reverse my trend of misplacing things into one of efficiently managing my stuff.
Moral of the story, kids: Don't just toss stuff aside and say that you'll put it away later. Put it away now. 'Cause before you know it you'll have 120 dollars of hand-held computing sitting a few feet away from you while you mope over not knowing where it is.
