So, the French name for the move "Pound"

Is one of the few that a free translations site can't seem to translate. This leaves me very curious as to what it might mean. I think there might have been a few others I was unable to find translations for, but this is the only one that sticks with me. I kind of wish Bulbapedia had translations for the foreign move names other than Japanese. I know several of them are not direct translations from the English or the Japanese. Oh, well. I suppose I shall simply have to keep looking for it.

I just was just posting this as a way to vent a minor frustration. =p

You are trying to translate Écras'Face to English?
I think it means crush face or something like that. The verb écraser means to crush/squash/grind and face can mean, among other things, face.

That's it! The problem was that apostrophe that shortened the first part of the attack. I've had this issue before, but I was able to find and/or figure out the original word. Thank you very much for you help.

No problem :) If you want to double check (I'm learning French but far from an expert), there are some native French speakers around (I know of one for certain that I could give you the username of).

That's okay. I wouldn't want to bother anyone. Besides, I'm pretty sure you're right, as it makes sense in the context. Thanks, anyway though!
I just wish the French names didn't have to use those apostrophes so often. =p
