Warp drives are cool.
To summarize for all you lazy people out there, basically this dude named Miguel Alcubierre hypothesized a warp drive that could take a vehicle to another star 10 times faster than it takes light to get there without breaking the laws of physics. It was cool and all, but it took a ridiculous amount of energy, about the mass energy of Jupiter (think E=MC2 where M is the mass of Jupiter, that's how much eneregy).

Maps are cool, so I figured I'd supply you with this one as well for my 301st blog. It is a map that gives the meaning of every country's name instead of the actual name. It's quite cool I think.
