As I turned down the corner of the page of the fourth Harry Potter book in the exact same place as I had eight years ago (Son of a gun, I feel old), I literally got tears in my eyes. I turned off my light, and then turned it on again and flipped to the title page and read what my mom wrote there: "Ben finished this book October 15 2005". Just so many feels. I can't even put this into words, but I just had to make this blog.

So I'm gonna try to write a Harry Potter fanfic. It will be about a wizarding school in America. (Totally an original idea, right guys?) Dad just got home from work and said he saw five-car pileups like every hundred yards on the freeway. Apparently the snow melted and froze into ice, and ice + idiotic Nevada drivers who only slow down to either park or stare at people who got pulled over = pain.
