So I did karaoke tonight and blew my voice out on the third song. That's with a room rented for two hours, I might add. So my 80s standards list was gone by the end of Welcome To the Jungle.

I *had* planned to do some Japanese songs, but that kinda fell apart when it became apparent that the Japanese songs they had only had lyrics in Japanese and Korean on the screen. Which severely limited my ability to follow along. But Ketsuban managed to find Mezase Pokémon Master on the list and did that.

My voice was pretty much ruined by the time I did my last song, Toy Soldiers (the Martika version. Yes I'm old school). I couldn't hit *anything* and the song's in my range.

Although I did The World Is Not Enough somewhere in there, and told her and GCM to think of Myotismon talking to Oikawa. Because that song is totally Myo being creepy and seductive.

Anyway, afterward we went for bubble tea and waited forever to get it since there was one guy working and like 10 orders at the same time. But while we waited, this guy came in wearing the same shirt GCM had on. So what are the odds? Let me elaborate--what are the odds that two twentysomething guys would come to the same bubble tea place WEARING A BRIGHT BLUE SHIRT WITH A PIKACHU ON IT?

So yes, that was hysterically funny.
