I (Still) Hate Poke Transfer

A few nights ago, someone offered up yet another shiny Golett. The asking price was a Lugia, any Lugia. Since I had a spare, I figured I could trade.
Yeah, about that.... The spare was on one of my Third Gen carts. That meant going through both a Pal Park and a Poke Transfer. Not fun.
The Pal Park half didn't take terribly long; I did get hung up when the last Pokemon of the set took its sweet time showing its face. But once that one was caught, I got started on the second leg of the journey.
You know, I thought transferring a Deoxys was hard but Lugia's worse. He never wants to show his face until the last few seconds. In fact, he hamstrung me so badly that I begged Prime to catch him.
It took Prime less than a second to nail him. Seriously, two shots and he was done. The man makes it look easy, I tell you.
Said Lugia stayed in my party about two minutes, if even that. I tracked down the Golett and happily made the trade. I swear, I think I'm the only one who is happy to surrender a Legendary just to get a shiny Golett. Man, those little guys just have me wrapped around their flat little fingers!
I don't think I'd have it any other way.
