"Not in a good mood" doesn't begin to cover it.
So there's an intersection in our lovely city that seems to flood when we have any sort of rain. Two drops or a deluge, it don't matter. However, said intersection isn't well lit at night and sometimes, you can't tell that you're in trouble until you've gone in too far. Which is what happened to me and Prime tonight. Poor Scamper, brave and sweet, has a flooded engine and he's parked by the roadside, drying out. In the morning, Prime's going to try and get him jumped and see what happens.
I'm not happy. This city does not seem to care about its roads at all: in winter, our street is the last one plowed. If you're lucky, you might be able to follow the tire tracks of the driver in front of you and arrive semi-safely at your destination. In summer, we have an intersection that turns into a damned lake if we've had a thunderstorm! Just why in Primus' name do I pay taxes if nothing is done about this crap? I may as well flush my money down the toilet; it does the same amount of good.
All I can do now is wait and hope for the best. If I'm lucky, Scamper will turn over and he'll be fine. If not, I have no idea what I'll do.
It's going to be a very long night.
