Last night I decided to clean out my wallet a little bit and make some room for things. I found my old DTF--Dairyland TransFans--membership card and just stared at it. After a few seconds, I pulled it from my wallet and placed it in an old book. I won't be needing it anymore.

You see, the guy who heads the group is the same one who decided that since Prime and I were at BotCon last year, we shouldn't be allowed to post anything to the DTF that dealt with the convention. He's the one ...

It's Dairycon 2009!

I'm actually at the Ramada as I type this; they have a 24 hour business center with net access. Been having a pretty good time-- today was the tour, where we got to tour a classic car collector's garage. Man oh man, did he ever have some really nice cars. Saw a GTO that my dad would have flipped for and at least two Corvettes that one of my friends in NC would have salivated over.

When Prime and I took our little road trip to Milwaukee (Go Brew Crew!), he decided that we should stop at a local Kay Bee Toy Outlet. He wanted the new Transformers Universe Optimus/Megatron two pack. Me, I just like window shopping.

After we selected our purchases, we headed up to the check out. I noticed a few three packs of My Little Ponies on the counter, so I picked one up to get a better look at it. Then I noticed one of the other boxes: A three pack of Ponies containing Parsol ...

As I mentioned yesterday, my friend DA is at San Diego Comic-Con right now. He's been giving me quite a few updates which is really cool. Among them:

*The Hasbro exclusive GI Joe black suit Cobra Commander and the Diamond Select exclusive G1 Animated Optimus Prime bust have been sold out since yesterday.

*The lines for Hasbro Toy Shop weren't too bad this morning (he got in and got the exclusives in about a half an hour).

*He'll have to get tickets to ...

I admit it: I have a case of the summertime blues. And it's worse this year than last.

It seems that I really have nothing to look forward to; BotCon was in April and my highly anticipated trip to Wizard World Chicago was cancelled due to lack of funds. Then, there's my friend DA.

He's leaving to go to SDCC today. One of my friends is Comic-Con bound. And I am so jealous of him right now. I'm happy he's going but I'm also jealous as all get out. (I've wanted to go to ...
