So the long awaited Pokemon Bank has been released in a handful of countries this week, including the United States. Excitement ensued; I saw many an excited post on facebook, received a couple of excited texts from friends, and even I myself was excited upon first seeing the news. But then I remembered the unfortunate truth; the app will be of little to no use to me. You see, I moved house a little over a year ago...and haven't seen my DS or any of its games since then. So no Pokemon HeartGold, Diamond, Platinum or White for me. So when I saw the bank was out, I couldn't share the excitement of everyone else...and that was simply heartbreaking.
There was a silver lining, though. While I was at work, I remembered that in my recent searches for my lost DS and such, I did see that my GBA was still around, along with some of its games. I was thinking "GREAT! I'll at least get my Gen III Pokemon!". But nope. Three of my GBA games were found with the GBA; neither of my Gen III games were among them.
I did, however, find my Pokemon Yellow. So...there's that, I guess. But I'm not so sure. Is it worth it? We'll see lololol. Either way, if anybody knows the "finding things" fairy, have her give me a buzz.
PS: I've been pretty busy so there hasn't been much on the LP front. I'll try to get something out this weekend though.
