Carb addiction is a thing and I'm pretty sure I have it.

There's just no other way to explain the massive amount of carb-heavy foods I've eaten today. And not just the sweet sugary stuff, either--I mean chips and tortilla and bread that I knew I was not hungry for but still ate anyway. And now I'm craving cereal even though I know I have a salad waiting for me in the fridge.

Full on rolls were eaten today, y'all. Full on rolls.

This also isn't the first time this has happened, either. Gah, I need to stop!

    Even though you don't perceive a "carb" flavor, your mouth actually does pick up on the presence of carbs and your brain responds to it.

    But apparently, it's also common to have the urge to eat simply because putting stuff in your mouth is so associated with fun. Think about it. At parties, amusement parks, gatherings with friends, the mall, there's always something there for you to put in your mouth. You know where there's nothing to put in your mouth? Lectures. Cubicles. Hospital waiting rooms.

    Mmm... carbohydrates. Just as satisfying to eat as meat. Nummy.
