Blog #3 - All Settled In
So as some of you may know, I moved to another state! Which explains why I've been inactive for about three months now. It's been hectic to say the least, but I settled in successfully, which is all that matters to me.
I still remember the exact day I moved out of the big city and into the beautiful suburbs with amazing scenery. It was the twenty-sixth of December, right after Christmas Day. My family and I decided that moving on the twenty-sixth was a great idea because everyone would be busy with their families and stuff. Thus, we spent the night of Christmas day packing. (I know right?) Although we spent the night packing, my family and I had this huge party Christmas eve that we go to each year & it was really fun as usual! I still have the leftover amounts of money I got which I'm going to be spending on a 3DS. (GETTING X OR Y FINALLY YES.)
OH. I should point out that we didn't need any moving people or trucks to help us, we moved by putting our clothes and everything we needed in trash bags. iI brought everything I needed of course; my DS, my laptop, and my headphones. That may seem extremely ratchet, but we managed to work everything out LOL. The drive to Maryland was actually pretty smooth, although I was reminiscing about my life in NYC which made me tear up a little.
When we arrived at the new house, which is really big compared to the cramped little apartment we lived in at NYC, it was like stepping into my new life. I didn't know how I was going to fit in and everything since moving was a big change for me. The first week there was actually pretty okay, it was still Christmas break so school didn't start yet. The rest of the days before school were pretty chill, I had adjusted to my new peaceful lifestyle. I still need to explore the outskirts more though haha. A week later school started, and that situation will be in a different blog entry. I can say right now that I've adjusted to school here though, I've made a group of friends and everything. :)
Overall, moving was a totally different and surreal experience for me. I hope for many fun things to happen but at the same time I hope things don't get too out of hand.
Till next time!
