Ok, so if anyone here has seen any new Nick shows, you'll agree! First, they have Nick studio 10. ( or as I call it: THE INTERRUPTER OF SHOWS! ) Then, they have failed attempts at comedy, like Fanboy and Chumchum. And shows that drain your brain cells. What happened to the old Nick? I miss it sooo much!

As for Disney, they've been going down hill too. They always ruin the shows by having the main character start dating. And, I'm mad at Disney for closing Toontown and replacing it with making Club Penguin worse!

So do you think that kid's shows are going downhill?

Yes. I've thought the same thing for years now. I barely even watch these channels anymore, expect for a select few shows, due to their horrible new programming.

Now I do have to give Cartoon Network some credit for reviving old cartoons from time to time, airing classics on Cartoon Planet, along with showing Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes at 5:00 a.m. But aside from that and the anime they show on Saturdays mornings I find the channel unwatchable. Thank goodness we've got YouTube to enjoy good old classics.

hehe, Disney's going bad? JUST Disney? Well, I'm still upset at what they did to Tron Uprising, because I did NOT like being left hanging after seeing Clu's army simply flying toward Argon. and I speak for many people when I ask about what happens then that leads the characters (Beck and Tron especially) to Legacy.

I've watched cartoon network since the golden age of animation, and compared to some of the classics like Dexter's Lab, Ed Edd 'n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog, these new shows like Adventure Time leave me questioning what kind of stuff are they doing...

not helping things are the fact that any, ANY action show that airs on CN doesn't last. Green Lanturn: TAS was a good idea, and Young Justice doesn't get any full resolution... just another crisis over with and a new Big Bad lying in wait in the background, ready to get things started.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Cartoons have really tanked over the past decade or so. I really miss old, quality cartoons that existed in my childhood. Two of my favorite examples are Angry Beavers and Ed, Edd n' Eddy. Those shows were golden, and they were big highlights in my childhood days. The stuff that's on today is just pure, utter garbage. I'd rather watch shows like NCIS, which make my stomach turn, or even the *shudders* History channel, than the slag that's on nowadays. What happened to the good stuff that existed only 10 or so years ago? Why did they have to disappear forever? Compared to the trash that plagues the airwaves now... GIVE ME BACK MY BEAVERS AND OTHER CARTOON FRIENDS, NOW!!!

I seriously agree! I boycotted Disney sooo many years ago. I can't believe a few of my friends actually watched Hanna Montana!!! Everytime I heard fanboy and chumchum on t.v, I felt like throwing my remote into the tv!!!! The characters were so ugly and that music was so aggravating!! The only shows I watch on Nick now are Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, and TL of Korra. As for Cartoon Network, none of the shows really interest me, but it's nice to see that they show Codename Kids Next Door and Courage at 1:30 and 2:00pm. Glad we have Boomerang, I love watching Foster's Home!

I think that they'll get replaced with different channels. You know the Hub? That's probably one of the newest kids channels, which I've heard actually has some pretty good shows (especially transformers and my little pony). If anything, the old kids channels will be replaced with new ones with some actually good stuff.

But hopefully that doesn't happen right now at this very second, because I still need Nick to show Legend of Korra when season 2 comes out.

Eh, I still like Phineas and Ferb (even if it is repetitive) and Xiaolin Chronicles isn't all that bad.
