Pokecon Cosplay progress

I am almost finished with my OC trainer cosplay for Pokecon next weekend. She's a fire and water trainer named Lavy who is from Cinnabar Island; I made a trainer character for a Pokemon RP on the forums here and I'm excited to cosplay her ^_^
I finished the purple hoodie she wears, made two Indigo League gym badges and attached them to the hoodie, and I completed about 5 Pokeballs so far.
I've got to finish attaching the Pokeballs to the belt with snaps; they'll be removable this way! I'm also going to paint a couple of Moonballs. I made them out of clear vending machine balls. I painted the inside of the plastic balls: one white, one red. Then I waited, did a couple more coats of paint, and snapped the two sides together. I freehand painted a black line around the middle, then cut a tiny white circle out of craft foam, painted a black line around that, and superglued it on. I superglued one half of a snap closure to the back of the Pokeball and sewed the other half on to my belt.
They're the smallest size that a Pokeball can shrink to, which I think is really awesome. You don't often see it in the anime or even the manga, but Pokeballs can really shrink to the size of about a ping pong ball or golf ball for storage and stuff. So cute.
Next I'll be finishing the Fairy-Fire-Water symbols design on my backpack. And I think that's it! I really don't think there's an official canon symbol for Fairy type yet, but I've seen a lot of great fan interpretations so I just went with one of those. I'll be posting pics of the completed cosplay next week, but for now check out some progress photos:
