I'm disappointed in Gen VI.

First off, because I don't really like the designs. While there are a few good ones like Goronda, Honedge, and Tyrantum, mostly they are awful. And none of the Fairy types seem fitting of their Fairy typing.
Next, due to Mega Evolutions, which only seem to be given to the most overrated Pokémon in history. But my theory is that Nintendo/Game Freak is trying to take away the focus of the original Pokémon themselves, redoing everything into over designed pieces of garbage. Why Mega Evolutions when there are "normal" evolutions?
But the worst part of all is what they did to the typechart. First off, it wasn't a good idea to have Steel lose its resistances to Dark and Ghost. Some people say that the strength to fairy makes up for it but Steel was meant to be the awesomest type to use defensively but nothing special offensively.
But the Fairy type wasn't even necessary, Dragons aren't overpowered, they're overused and overrated (except for Flygon and Kingdra). Plus, the Fairy type doesn't fix the type chart, it screwed it up more. The Ice type is now completely pointless, and the Dark type is now too weak. And the funniest/worst part of all is that this type was meant to fix the type chart, but it ended up being the most overpowered type in history. It's strong against the most used offensive types and weak to a defensive type and an underpowered one. In fact, you could have mostly fixed the type chart by making Poison strong against Water. But by now it is beyond ridiculous and I'm sticking with Gen V.
