Heart Gold Nuzloke Part 29 The Mystery Man and the Great Sea

Well video game crossover’s aside did you know Starmie float on the top of the ocean at night in Pokemon? NOW YOU KNOW.

Anyway Magi and I swim around until finally there’s Cainwood City. You know I don’t really understand how non water Pokemon can battle in the water. Like really how can Machop battle in the ocean?
Oh and I stole this guy’ Shuckie (who says you can’t be like Team Rocket in this game). Well I didn’t really steal it but I have no intentions of giving it back hehe...

His stats are pretty bad (I’m gonna list em) At: 13, Df: 110, Sp At: 13, Sp Df 101, Sp: 9. He has a relaxed nature and likes to run! Now it’s not that his stats are bad it’s just that they’re very sparse. I just don’t know....

So I’m minding my business on the nice beach when Suicune just hops out of nowhere... it was all very dramatic -_-. I’m thinking about catching it when all of a sudden... Eusine. He tells me how beautiful and grand Suicune is. Then he battles me... to earn Suicune’s respect -_-. I beat him with a little trouble but I love how my game lists him as Mystery Man Eusine....

Finally I replaced Cinder with Growlie. I’m kinda sad about it but she almost got knocked out and I’m not havin’ anyone dyin’

My Pokemons: Growlithe (Growlie), Chi (Kadabra), Magi (Gyardos ) Wooly ( Flaaffy ) Muscle (Machop) Tero (Haunter) In box: Spike ( Togachick ), Cinder ( Quilava ), Purple Hoothoot (Hoot) (Rattacate) Mars (Golbat) Pine (Sudowodo), Amy (Sandshrew), Aqua ( Tentacruel ), Eevee (Foxy), Leaf (Butterfree), Rockey (Geodude), Egg, In day Care: Blue ( Poliwag )

Shuckle has the highest Defence and Sp. Defence stats ever at base 255 each. He would make a great double wall if his HP wasn't so low. I would tell you a moveset, but I only know him in Gen V.

^ Base 230 each. You were close.

I'm not sure how you feel about stalling your opponents to death, Okami, but that's pretty much the only way Shuckle plays, at least until it picks up Power Trick (which is incredibly risky against anything with physical attacks).

    Close enough :p

Shuckle actually can be used without power trick. Leftovers with Toxic, Protect, Rest, and Rock Slide/Stone Edge is good. Poison foe, Protect to recover leftovers, rest, and rockslide to pick them off.

That sounds promising... Right now Wooly ( my Flaaffy ) is sort of my wall but I don't know. I don't even know I want to use Cinder of Growlie. I think that it might be better to go with Growlie becaue Cinder almost lost to a Haunter or something and that worryies me ( I don't want anyone dying). Doesn't Growlithe have a nice move pool?

Power Trick is such a beautiful thing. Also Sharking I actually had one of my Pokemon in black ( I forget which one) stall my opponents to death. It was great because I would kill them... when they were dying off of poison

Arcanine-Flare Blitz, Thunder Fang, Heat Wave, Extreme Speed.

Is there any other Pokémon you want to know a moveset for? Lol
