I needed Lapras to finish my Unova Dex, so I was just riding my bike around the Village Bridge to make rippling water appear. I kept finding Basculin and Marill.

One ripple appeared and A SHINY LAPRAS WAS IN IT! I was so exited that I showed my mom knowing full well she won't understand what the hell I was talking about.

I was afraid to accidently kill it so I just kept throwing Pokeballs, until it used Perish Song. I couldn't afford to let it go so a chucked one Master Ball at it. I had 2 and I had a policy against using Master Balls on Legendaries, so it was fair game.

I am now the proud owner of a SHINY PURPLE LAPRAS.

    Wow what a lucky catch, shame you had to use your Master Ball but that's good to save for something like that, I almost never use Master Balls on legendaries. Congrats, Lapras is a pretty awesome shiny.
