Exactly 365 days ago, I decided to join this forum. Why? I can't actually remember. Probably something to do with the recently announced X and Y. It's been an entire year. Way too many things have happened. I know everyone is looking forward to their mentions, but this blog will read like a graduation ceremony. Lots of uninteresting stuff must be endured before you get your Diplomas.
When I first joined, I posted a an introduction thread like every other new member. I then looked
Miiverse is Nintendo's social gaming community. It is a generally dry place full of nothing but wannabe artists and n00bs. The only real use I have for it is getting figurines in The Wind Waker HD. However, this empty wasteland recently got a lot more interesting since it is used by 13-14 year olds to flirt and by extension pedophiles and other predators. Knowing Nintendo, it might suffer the same fate as Swapnote.

In my previous blog, I discussed how I successfully got my cousin into Pokemon. Now he has apparently challenged me to a fight:
Earlier this year, my 10 year old cousin came to stay with us for the Summer. I wanted to get him into Pokemon, I got him Pokemon White Version and let him play it on my old DS lite I wasn't using. When it was time for him to go, he asked to keep it. but I told him fuck no because he loosened out the hinge and made it sticky and greasy as hell. For the next 3 months, I didn't really pay attention to if Pokemon had left an impression on him or not.
