I hope you don't fall into the "I'm grown up I do what I want" trap that teenagers tend to fall into.

It's just flat-out not true. Being "grown up" (ie, maturity), is a continuous journey, not a destination.

I dont really like the term "grown up". I like to think you actually live a better life if you never really grow up in a traditional sense and keep that child like flame inside you as long as you can. (I know it sounds corny but...) However do push yourself to do different things outside your comfort zone and dont be afraid to fail. DO learn from your experiences and try to take something away from the little everyday experiences. Amd do yourself a favor and learn how to brush off failures and mistakes and dont focus too much on the negative. Ive known so many people in my short time on this earth that dwell on all the negatives of their life even living in the past over and over again when all they have to do is just let it go and move on. Its hard to do but youve got plenty of time to learn all of this yourself... we are all learning new things everyday too, no matter how old you get.

Yep, I can see your point. Still, reaching adulthood means you are free from parents, and that's quite important, IMO at least.
