I went to the dermatologist. It was a different dermatologist from my regular one, though. I do hope I never go back there EVER AGAIN. First off when they asked for my name to put in the patient data chart thing they spelled it wrong... Instead of a REGULAR n they just HAD to use ñ, really? (one of my pet peeves) Then the bed thing (I'm not sure what you call it), where you're supposed to lie down when they're cleaning your face, was positioned so that the lights shined directly in my eyes. I would've closed my eyes but I heard them mention something about an injection so I wanted to keep my eyes peeled for that one. Eventually, though, I got really tired of keeping my eyes open and staring at that light which was SO F*CKING BRIGHT. But I opened them again from time to time, just in case. I thought I was gonna get impaired vision or something. Hopefully I didn't and it doesn't have a long term effect or something, but up until now my eyes STILL feel a bit tired. But when they asked me to rate their service by dropping a paper in the happy face or sad face box, believe it or not, I put it in the happy face one. I gave them a break, just a few minor mistakes and the people there deserved to get fired? Nope. But if they really DID deserve to get fired then, oh well...

After that I went to church and for some reason the priest was talking about the end of the world. O_o They even showed the trailer of that movie that came out like 2, 3 years ago about the end of the world, 2012. There's even something about the end of the world in the Bible. Something about "The stars will fall out of the sky and the heavens will shake and the Son of Man will ride on the clouds"...I didn't get the EXACT quote but that's basically it. I have a question, though. December 21 for what TIME and WHICH TIMEZONE? Amercian time? Because where I live it's 12 hours ahead of America so...12 extra hours to live???

I do hope this entry didn't offend anyone, thanks for reading!
P.S. I encourage you to read my other entries as well, except for the stupid ones...please ignore those...

    LOL end of time.

    If I were you, I'd just sit back, relax, and play Pokémon. If the end comes, then it comes. There's no stopping it, if ever.

    And, yes, the exact date thing amuses me too.

    The Mayan calender never had leap years in mind, so the world already ended last year.

    Um, doesn't leap year just add an extra day, not an extra year?

    Both actually, as we've already have more than 365 extra days.

    To be fair, they may have been using it as an example of what the Apocalypse might look like (the trailer had very apocalyptic imagery), to preface a sermon on the book of Revelation.

    (also Christianity =/= all religion jsyk)

    But scientists have already discovered when the world's going to end (when the sun uses up all of its energy and explodes).

    They have no exact date for this occurring (only that it will happen in several billion years), however.

    (keep in mind that I'm in no way implying they're wrong. I am Christian, but also a man of science)

    actually, to be exact, the sun has been calculated to be at least five billion years old, so in about five billion years from now, there is a plausible "end of the world" as the sun, being a rather medium-sized star, lasts in it's main sequence stage for about ten billion years.

    and the sun will not "explode" it will merely expand as it becomes a red giant because it's only in its main sequence stage, and thus it will most likely consume the earth, and if it doesn't, it will not have anymore energy to shine.

    /felt like explaining shit no one really cares about

    im not contradicting anybody by the way im just shedding a bit of light on the subject. i respect everyone's religion and thoughts.

    ^ wow, you guys took this WAY too seriously. Or maybe my entry wasn't clear enough and you guys misunderstood it... But I don't really believe that the world is going to end on December 21. (just seems to early to me lol) Think about it, people thought the world was going to end in the year 2000 but it didn't. lol
