LD4: Things, so many things...

Another part of my fabulous life dump series, where I just talk about stuff that goes on in my life and you politely read it. Maybe. Anywho, it's been a while since I've posted one of these, so let's get to it.

I don't think I've ever mentioned my Christmas presents. The bigbigbigbigBIG one was a 360 Elite, given to me by a very good family friend. A almost hugged her to death. Also, I got White 2. Now, that's cool and all, but the problem with that is I haven't quite beaten the E4 in my regular White version. So currently it's sitting by my bed, still wrapped, whilst I level grind my Pokemon in my party to adequate levels.

Finals. Oh god, finals. I did them though, and did quite well, getting A's and B's on the finals and classes. 5 A's and 2 B's, to be exact. Still less than my goal of getting straight A's, but good enough I guess.

There isn't much snow here, and even though I'm not a fan of the cold, I'd like to see some now. You know, because it's winter here and stuff. The only thing in the forcast is an ice storm, which is pretty awful. Cool, with a lot of photo ops, but awful. It should be snow, not rain that freezes a while after it hits the ground. It makes me sad. :C

So, after a ton of procrastinating, I've finished chapter one of my little story, which I've decided to title Pokemon: The Illusionist. The problem now is whether or not to post it here. Well here, let me do a little pros and cons. (I find it easier to organize my thoughts like this)

Google Doc option
Pros: As a google doc, and I could just make it public, and you could read it with all the fancy formatting, post comments/feedback (if you have a google account), and maybe even watch me at work. And you could just read up from where you left off. Whole chapters don't have to be completed, and you could just watch the progress.
Cons: It's public, meaning many people can read it and post comments. If there's too much negativity, I might have to disable the comments. That's a bad thing, since I like feedback.

Writer's Workshop Option
Pros: I'm posting it to a highly pokemon-oriented community who will like stuff like this. Comments and feedback are also enabled here, and I'm pretty sure whatever feedback I get will be positive.
Cons: Formatting, mainly. It will be difficult putting all the indents in there. Even though I know how to do it, it will be a long task. And since I'm lazy, it's not looking that great. Also, I'm not sure how long people are willing to wait for another chapter.

So yeah, that's my conundrum. :C
Any thoughts?

It's less than a month until my 18th birthday. Yay, i guess. I was never really big on the birthday thing, as I share it with another soul in the same household who is 55 seconds older than me and constantly mocks me about it. At least I can tell him that I'll be the first to get my HS diploma, as they do it in alphabetical order, and my name comes before his. This seems to irk him. Kehehehehehe... >:3

That's about it then. If you read this all, I thank you. No, really. Thank you for taking your time to read my ramblings. And the fact that you did makes me happy. :D

Stay awesome,
~Leaf

You're going to love W2 :D it's a solid game imo. Congrats on the grades!

I don't have any experience with writing, so idk if my advice would be good, but I think that the users here would probably be happy to give you feedback on your story. They'll be more familiar with the subject matter and the genre too, I'd imagine :)

And you're welcome, it was fun to read :P
