Also, I was planning to buy it... but it's £13.99!? Sheesh, I'm sorry but that's nothing more than a total rip-off for what is essentially an app. I'm seriously considering passing on it.

It's still not available yet, and it's the 8th over here in my part of the US. What's keeping them?

OK, someone on Serebii claims it's available now in Europe and Australia. I can confirm it's still not available in the US.

First of all, they did a poll regarding the price of Pokédex 3D Pro and it had been known for quite a while that it wasn't dirt cheap like Dream Radar. In a way, it makes sense - it's more than just a complete Pokédex. It's got animations of all 649 Pokémon (taken from the 3D games for the most part. This might tell us something about the appearance of the Unova Pokémon in a 3D game), quizzes, as well as several features that are designed to make you play around with what I think is the bulk of the app outside of being a Pokédex - Augmented Reality features. I haven't actually tried it myself since getting it, but I'm sure it'll work well - you can create a lot of scenes if you do it right!
Second, the instructions say that you can seach up "Pokémon" and that will lead you to the app.
Generally I've seen it placed next to Pokémon Dream Radar if you're trying to find it without QR Code assistance or search terms.

Too damn expensive. Maybe I'll get it later.

I think he means replacing the old file on your 3DS. I don't think so, it's completely separate and games that get updated will have the update notice right on that game.

And it's live in the US! I'm downloading it right now!!

That's not the point of the image, actually. Where I highlighted the text and the accompanying subtitle is a joke on how many Generation I cries are similar to each other (Rhyhorn and Charizard come to mind first with this point).

I downloaded the Pokedex, and it's lacking Meleotta and Dennis.
