The Merits of Vine Whip. Also, I'm an Idiot.

Damn, I should really learn to do some research before planning a team.

In LeafGreen, I've got a Victreebel. That's all fine and dandy, right? Well, it would be. If I had waited two more levels to evolve it.

I evolved my Weepinbell at level 40, because that's generally when I evolve my Pokemon that require stones to evolve. I didn't bother looking up Weepinbell's or Victreebel's movesets beforehand... which has pretty much cost me a decent Pokemon. Weepinbell doesn't learn anything good in Gen III up until Razor Leaf at level 42. I didn't discover this til this morning, and I evolved it last night. Cue my FFFFFFFFFFFFFU-- moment.

So now I'm stuck with an extremely crappy Vine Whip.

I'm an idiot.

Other than Victreebel, the team's pretty damn well tied-together. I like it.

    I had Solarbeam/sunny day on mine, so I didn't sweat it. Plus, after like level 43... move relearner... :P

    When you get to Two Island (after you defeat Blaine) you can get the Move Relearner to teach your Vicreebel Razor Leaf in exchange for a Big Mushroom or two Tinymushrooms (which you can get from catching Paras or Parasect).

    Or you could teach it Giga Drain if you still have the TM from defeating Erika I guess. Although it kinda sucks with only 5 PP back in GenIII...

    Yus. I have to go get a couple of Paras first, though. xDD

    And I taught Giga Drain to my Butterfree, since its special attack is higher than my Victreebel's.
