Mafia Reservations!

So my first mafia game is starting soon. The theme is Advance Wars. It's a fun series, (try it!) but my game requires no knowledge of the series to play. I can't tell exactly when my game is starting but it's next on the waiting list.

I'm taking reservations here or via PM or VM.
There are 16 open spots for possible reservations, 26 in all.

I never played AW. I know the general gist of it not being a game I'd like because genre.

But assuming it doesn't need any knowledge on the game, sure, why not?

Nope, no knowledge of the series is required and I've tried to minimize the advantage that seems to come with knowing the theme.

I've only played Dark Conflict, which I understand isn't really connected to the main series of the game in terms of storyline, though I do have a fleeting knowledge of the main storyline. I'd quite like to play.
