I agree. Surely if you are that desperate to talk about it,you could at least warn people in advance. Or spoiler it. Or both.

If you'd like us to consider making a rule or changing policy, I suggest approaching one of us rather than complaining about normal users openly.

Not to offend, but you're on a forum dedicated to Pokemon and the discussion of new games. Whether you want them to or not, info's gonna slip through. And most of the information's half a year old, so a lot of people have accepted quite a bit of BW2's stuff as common knowledge. It's not fun being spoiled when you don't want to be, but that's the risk when you go on a Pokemon forum.

And if you want, you can always approach a mod or go to the proper channels to talk about it to the mods.

To be honest I thought I was perfectly within my rights as a user to vent via a blog - especially since I didn't name the user therefore I'm not actually offending anyone or dragging someone into this.

I am fully aware that this is a Pokemon forum. I am also fully aware of the dedicated threads for the discussion of new games.

The reason I did not approach a mod is because I merely wanted to know what other users felt and if there are large numbers of others out there who feel annoyed because they too have been spoiled.

Anyway... message received.

I wonder if the people who run Bulbagarden have ever considered dishing out infractions to people who make spoiler comments on new games (BW2) before they have been released worldwide.

^ Comments like this sort of suggest you wanted to make a new rule. And regular users are allowed to make suggestions, just by the by.
