Yesterday was a month on from the Pokemon Direct broadcast which introduced Generation VI to us all.

To those who, like me, are struggling ever so slightly with the time we have to wait until these games are in our clammy hands - I would just like to say 'well done!'

Hey guys, I wonder if anyone can help me out with something.

I need to find some good online sources for various information on old school consoles and games (Anything from the N64/Playstation era and older).

I know there's a lot of wikis out there and I intend to have a good look on them. Does anyone know of any other sites dedicated to this kind of thing? I need information like who developed the games, how they sold.. that kind of thing.

I may be totally off the mark here... but as far as I can see there is a massive irony floating around many Pokemon forums at the moment.

The amount of thread comments I've seen since the Gen VI announcement that exclaim something along the lines of ''OH GOD JUST WAIT FOR ALL THE GENWUNNERS TO START RANTING ABOUT HOW BAD GEN VI WILL BE'' etc, is probably around a dozen, possibly nearer 20.

I'm off to watch the Pokemon Direct broadcast again.

Because, quite frankly, it could well be the best thing I've ever seen on the internet.
