I love them. I really, really do. They're artistic and beautiful and epic. And the effort really shines through.

ParaNorman is stop-motion and I think that alone is enough reason for me to go see them. But...why did I not hear of 'The Pirates! Band of Misfits'? To anyone who's seen it, was it nice?

On a completely unrelated note, a public reminder: COFFEE IS A DIURETIC. If there isn't a bathroom anywhere near, DO NOT ingest large amounts of it.

  1. Ghetsis-Dennis's Avatar
You should also watch "Frankenweenie" for it too is a Stop-Motion film. It's actually a remake of one of the two bonus short films from the Nightmare Before Christmas DVDs. The Pirates movie is nice, and it also has the Doctor providing the voice of one of history's iconic figures: Charles Darwin.
  2. Dragonfyre's Avatar
Why did I not hear of that? Why? 'Frankenweenie' sounds EPIC. Because Tim Burton. 'Nuff said.
