During a visit on some car listing websites i happen to stumble accross two ads for used cars. they were so rediculusly overpriced that there is no way that this was a typo... The first one was for a late 90s Mitsubishi 3000gt with 157,000 miles and not in A1 shape. the asking price $160,000. yea like thats the DEAL of the century.. But the one that was even more crazy was that someone put on autotrader a 1987 toyota corrola GT-S with 147,500 miles and asking was $150,000... im sorry but $150,000 FOR A 26 YEAR OLD CORROLA?!?! there is something very wrong here if i would by an old CORROLA that would cost more than a NISSAN GTR and be more like the starting MSRP of a LAMBORGHINI. Man if anyone buys that then i got some Tundra in south Florida i would like to sell them...

I don't speak car here, so I'll just take your word for it.

in simpler terms it makes much sence as to buy a used nintendo gameboy SP and then try to sell it at around $90,000.

I doubt a economy compact car for that age and miles would sell over $3000 even if it is a sportier trim. the salvage yard may even pay more than 3 grand

Come on, are 1987 models still out and running at the streets?
I mean, of course they are, yet I don't think that people would sell them, not for 10 bucks whatsoever...

Guess someone thought that made it worth a lot in real life. :V

yep. but this one was BONE STOCK. the guy said it was an AE86 but that is the trim level compared to Chevys SS. i dont think a trim level will add 125,000 dollars with Kelly Blue Book.
