Appearently, those creative Japanese artists found that Pachirisu has its name portion, Pachi, sounds similar to "Hachi", meaning 8 (I've heard of Hachi-Roku (86), or Suzuka Hachi Jikan (Suzuka 8 Hours)), so they made Pachirisu Day on August 8, which also includes 8.

Emolga Day's coming too, on September 3, just less than a month after Pachirisu Day. Emolga's Unova Dex number was 093 (093 -> 93 -> 9/3 -> September 3) before Black 2 and White 2 expansion, so an artist from Japan made an Emolga Day. RéBURST anyone?

Does these electric squirrels making sense? I think they are having their own entities instead of being Pikachu ripoffs. Exactly, we'd celebrate Electric Squirrels' Month on August and September.
