Little timeline

So about 3 1/2 months ago, I got Minecraft. So I started a world titled 'Railroad' and started building a railroad on it. And after 3 1/2 months of directionless rail building, I finally figured out an idea yesterday, make a hi-speed rail. And so, a new project has started. I spent the last 6 hours building a second station some 1.5-2.5 km away from my starting point. It's finally complete. So now, I'm building another one. This one however, is in the middle of the ocean and has a survival island some 50 m away from it. Perfect. A new ferry service to connect the railway with the island. I'm probably also gonna make a second short railway spur to go to a desert some 200 m away. And from what I'm seeing, the next 2-3 km may just be plain ocean.
Now for some info on the railway. It's powered by powered rail in all its length other than the curves, and most of it is in a dedicated right-of-way suspended some 20 m above sea level. The first station's platform is at ground level with its main floor some 10 m above sea level, while the second one in construction's platform is some 25-30m above sea level, and its main floor is at about 15 m above sea level, and its ferry station at sea level.
Now for a timeline.
Date in MM/DD/YY format.
- 08/30/12 Railroad construction started.
- 09/03/12 1st phase of rail completed.
- 09/06/12 1st terminus completed.
- 11/12/12 Started to extend to 1st station.
- 12/14/12 Extending to 1st station complete.
- 12/14/12 Currently building 2nd station over ocean.
I'm probably gonna make an update on the existing video about it on YouTube.
That's all for now, this blog will probably be updated over time. But that's it for now!
