3. Teach it to your Typhlosion

Not if you raise it right. My Typhlosion was my most powerful Pokémon ever, completely able to ignore type matchups with any opponent. The thing that finally killed him wasn't an opponent Pokémon—rather, it was the cartridge's battery running dry.

Only because the NPCs have poor A.I.; facing real players is where it matters.

Implying all that people play the games for is competitive.
