Ahh yes, dial-up. The days before I was a bitter old man.

Ugh, unfortunately, yes. I hated having to deal with dial-up while trying to attend to my Neopets, LOL!

Thanks a lot, now I can't get that unholy screeching out of my head. Oh, and here's a nice bonus- now I feel old.

Don't lose hope! I had dial-up at my house until last month, when my parents finally got wifi so that my brother wouldn't fail his classes. Now I won't be disappearing when I go home on break. You'll get wifi eventually, I'm sure :P

Neopets with dial-up was a nightmare.

The worst part was when AOL would kick you off because of bad connection and close all the browser windows while it did so.

I remember going on my grandma's dial-up computer. They only had IE and it took like 5 mins just to open it up, so all I ever did on that computer was play Pinball and Minesweeper.

I feel old....
