Curb Your Enthusiasm

So recently, a friend of mine let me borrow a couple of DVDs featuring the show "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Curb was created by the man who also made "Seinfeld": Larry David. It's basically an L.D. vehicle (he writes, produces, acts, and directs), and it's an odd style of show, a comedy without much of a script and without a laugh track. Honestly, I wasn't too fond of it when I first started watching it, but over the past few days it's really been growing on me. The humor is very subtle and it's not for everyone, but the people who watch it regularly love it. Larry getting into wacky/unlucky/awkward situations never seems to get old, especially because of his lack of a social conscience. I think the funniest thing about the show is how easy it is to relate it to real life; we've all had those uncomfortable situations and those days when nothing seems to go our way, but after watching a few episodes of Curb, those situations and interactions with people, unreasonable or otherwise, actually become quite funny. Nowadays, whenever I see someone overreact to something or park in 2 spaces instead of one, instead of getting frustrated about it, I always hear the CYE theme running through my head, and I can't help but smile and imagine what Larry would do in my situation. Anyway, just wanted to talk a bit about one of my new favorite shows, I wanted to post something today and this seemed like an OK topic I guess.
What are some tv shows you watch but a lot of your friends/family members don't? Or what are some shows you love but everyone else hates? I'd like to see what kind of tv programs you guys enjoy.
To anyone who reads this, take care, and have an awesome day!
