My own Gym Leaders, part 2 !

Same as first part, this time around I'll put details about Espérance, the Psychic Gym Leader. Here we go ! (the thread if you want detailed Pokémon teams).
"Combattons-nous, dresseur, et que le meilleur gagne... Oh, hum, I accidentally a pit of native language... Konrad, pourriez-vous traduire ce que j'ai dit, je vous prie ?"*
Name : Espérance (エスペランス, Esuperansu)
Moniker : Psychokinesis at its finest
Region : Laufe
Role : Leader of the (to be added²) Gym and distributor of the Conscience Badge
Type Specialty : Psychic
Background : Hailing from Kalos, Espérance almost can't speak the main language of the Laufe region at all, thus she has to rely on a trainer named Konrad at all times to help her understand other people. Despite this inconvenience, the 31 years old woman is a gentle person who will welcome any challenger who comes to her gym, be it a Laufe-native speaker or elsewhere. Espérance has always been the travelling kind of person. From Kalos to Kanto she travelled, then taking a stop at Hoenn and the Orre region, but she had to leave quickly due to the crisis caused by Cipher at the time. She even went in Sinnoh, where she could catch her Abra & Ralts, who's now a Kirlia. After much travelling, Espérance decided to settle down in the Laufe region, and proved herself to be a powerful trainer, even becoming a Gym Leader in the process.
However, she knew nothing of the language spoken in her new home region. It wasn't until a trainer by the name of Konrad attempted to defeat her in a Gym Battle, but without success. When Espérance finds out he was fluent in both Kalossian & Laufian, she gave him the opportunity to work not only as a translator for her, but also as one of the Gym's trainers, which he gladly accepted.
Pokémons : Abra (Kadabra in Challenge Mode), Kirlia, Espeon (Challenge Mode)
Miscellanous : In her spare time, Espérance tries to bend spoons with her mind, to not avail. Her Abra once attempted to prank her by bending the spoon itself while she tried to do so, only for the Pokémon's aura to coat the whole ustensil, thus betraying its doing. She is often seen carrying a small book, on which the cover says "How to laugh for dummies". Because Espérance is obliviously succeeding in her studies, Konrad highly hesitates to tell her this isn't the book she should be reading to improve her learnings.
*Translation : "Let us fight, trainer, and may the best win... *broken english* Konrad, will you please translate what I have just said ?"
