After I made my own Gym Leaders / Elite Four on this thread, I took Kakuna Matata's advice and decided to add descriptions of each of the Gym Leaders & Elite Four via blogging. However, I will do so one by one, and I'm beginning with the Boxing Gym Leader, Mike. Also, I'm bad at finding town names, so only the region's name is listed. Spheal with it :V
"If your head and your heart are in peace, even the fire stays cool."
Name : Mike (マイク, Maiku)
Moniker : Puts the Fight in the Fighting-type
Region : Laufe
Role : Leader of the (to be added) Gym and distributor of the Grasp Badge
Type Specialty : Fighting
Background : Mike is a 27 years old man originating from Saffron City in Kanto. When he was a child, he often looked through the windows of the Fighting Dojo after school, admiring the boxing art the Pokémon Hitmonchan represents. One day, one of the students inside noted this habit, and gave the young boy the opportunity to come and train inside. The fact the Fighting Dojo lost its status as the Official Gym of Saffron City didn't bother him much, because he didn't feel it hampered his boxing ability.
After many years, the Dojo eventually closed down and most of the students parted away, Mike included. He then moved far away from Kanto and ended his travel with his sparring partners, Machop & Tyrogue, in the Laufe region to show the boxing prowess he and his Pokémon trained after all this time. Laufe's local Elite Four caught wind of this newcomer, and after judging his Pokémon battling ability, they decided to give him the title of Gym Leader of (to be added).
Pokémons : Tyrogue, Machop, Mankey (Challenge Mode)
Miscellanous : After each of his training session, Mike eats and shares his favourite snack with his partners : a Moomoo Milk-chocolate bar. He had that habit since he was a child. Doing so reminds him of his home region and its closeness to Johto, where Moomoo Milk are being produced. His hobbies involves cyclism, and in the future he plans to expand his boxing Gym by including kick-boxing, full-contact and maybe muay-thaï.
Before anyone asks, "Laufe" is part of the german word "Schlaufe" which means "loop" as a noun. If you look at the different types used by the Gym Leaders from bottom to top order, then back on the bottom, you'll understand why I chose it. x)
